Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. The rodeo industry has forever lost a great entertainer who has touched the lives of more people than you may ever know. If only half of the Barrelmen around were half as great as "Boomers" we would be lucky.
Best Wishes and God Bless, Jason Mathis Pro Rodeo Announcer Garden City KS

I have worked with the NFPB for 7 years now and I remember the first time I met Jeff at the Holiday Inn. No matter what your day was like, Jeff always had a way to make you smile. Jeff was an ambassador for rodeo and for human life. Jeff always found a way to do something positive for someone each day of his life. You walk with God now and you have an audience with God and here on earth. Our paths will all cross again one day. Until that day, we will all take a piece of your grace and integrity with us. God Bless your family and may they find peace in this trying time. You will never be forgotten Jeff..

It was hard to fight bulls when Jeff was working. I would be laughing so hard it would be rough to concentrate. Thanks for bringing good times to the shows. God bless.

I had the pleasure of working with Jeff on a couple of occasions and had great times. I believe my sides hurt for days from laughing so hard. He will truly be missed, but we know that he's got em rollin in heaven.

I guess women think alike because Desiree Pettigrew said it perfectly. The Cheerleader act when he flipped his head around like a SNL character you always had to laugh. It puts a smile on my face thinking of it now. He was so animated, and it always seemed like his acts ended up with him just improvising and it always made it that much more funny. We are praying for his family and his children who will miss thier fun daddy. We have been very lucky to have met so many wonderful unique people through rodeo over the years and Jeff will be missed. When you pulled into the arena and saw his trailer you knew it was going to be a fun show.

I wasn't fortunate to work with "Boomers" all that often but remember a few rodeo's that we did together. He will be missed from my point of view because he was such a realistic person and a wonderful talent. I send my condolences to you the family and all he stood for in such a short time with us. He will be missed in the rodeo world. J.W. Kinder PRCA & PBR Rodeo Announcer Casper, Wyoming

As I sit here it is hard to say good bye to an old friend. What are the right words to say ,what are the best memories to tell, there are so many of each. But one I comment about is that no matter how bad it was Boomers would always have a smile on his face. Being in the arena with him alot, I got to where I could read him like a book and if an act didn't go as planned, he would just look at me and shrug his shoulders and look at me like watch out cause it could explode! I will never forget a great man like Boomers God Bless and show them how to ride one backwards upthere.
