Jeff "Boomers" Veteto, passed away on the morning of December 6, 2006 at the St. Anthony Hospital in Effingham, Illinois. Jeff was an outstanding rodeo competitor in high school, qualifying for the National High School finals, and after leaving high school he became a bull fighter and at the time he joined Rodeo Attitude he had just began working as a rodeo clown.

Jeff was a friend to everyone he met and he will forever be in our hearts and amongst our thoughts for years to come. His greatness will live on within us with a passion equal to which he harnessed with such craftsmanship to fill our hearts with joy and laughter so many times over.

The reasoning behind our friend and loved one being called home is unknown. For many of us the coming years will be forever changed and in our own ways we will all seek out a way to fill the emptiness left from his absence.

Please keep Jeff's family, friends, and loved ones in your prayers, and if you have a moment please feel free to share your memories, prayers, and condolences in the guestbook.

I wish to send out my sympathy to Libbi and the rest of Jeff's family. I just recently found out about the world losing Jeff and I am sorry it took so long for me to. However, I lost my 15 yr old son, Dalton Hunter Baumann, on May 15, 2007 in a car accident while he was on his way to school. Dalton and I met Jeff and his family in 2001 when we all were a part of the White Buffalo Tribe and the Extreme Bullriding Tour. Boomers was making the crowd and the crew laugh and Dalton was 10yrs old at the time and was being featured on the tour as the "Future" of bullriding. Dalton was riding junior bulls on the tour. Dalt would sit for hours visiting with Jeff and would tell Jeff's jokes over and over and over --- he was still telling them the weekend before the Lord called him home. He spoke of Jeff often and in Dalton's dresser is a t-shirt with Jeff on it that Dalt wore until he outgrew it. But we didn't get rid of it because Jeff had signed it and Dalton wanted me to use it as a quilt block when I was going to make one for him out of his old rodeo tshirts when he graduated. Now , well now he won't be graduating....but my cousin is going to take Dalton's tshirts and have the quilt made for me....that shirt will be included. I am wrestling right now with trying to understand why the Lord needed Dalton and at such a young age, before he really got his life started. And it makes me also wonder why taking someone so young who could make such a difference in this world as Jeff and Dalton both would have done had they been here longer. Yet after knowing Jeff he did make a difference in his short time here. I know he left a positive and lasting effect on my young son. And I feel that Dalton passed on some of that on to others and I have found that he himself was a positive influence on others. We were blessed to have both of them in our lives and to have them cross each other's lives. Know I am praying for you and your family and I hope that you all ca...
