THE CANDLE RANCH & DECOR'

  • WHAT MAKES THE CANDLE RANCH CANDLES BETTER THAN OTHER CANDLE MAKERS?

Our candles are handpourned individually, we use a special design natural wax, we design each candle with a designed fragrance that make no similarites to others. Each lead free wick is handset, and our labels are designed from original art by my best friend and renoun artist Denise Rich. You will not find a more unique, very fragrant, perfect burning candle anywhere.

  • HOW DID YOU COME UP WITH THE AWESOME FRAGRANCE NAMES?

Most of our stock contractors allowed us to create the fragrances, and some even chose their own fragrances for us to design. The celebrity friends of ours allowed us to create the fragrance after them, such as Todd Fritsch, he is a working cowboy and leather fit him well and as for Kenny Chesney he has always been an Island Boy since back in the early 90's and his favorite pie is Key Lime Pie so his fragrance was a given. Homer Joy and his wonderful wife, designed their fragrance to bring back the bakersfield sound!

  • WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO DONATE A PERCENTAGE OF SALES TO THE RIDERS RELIEF FUND?

I admire the Stock Contractors and their abilities to bring such an awesome superstar in the bulls they bring to events. These bulls have so much character and provide so much family excitement during a performace. I have a commitment to those that have allowed me to use their bulls names, and their celebrities names on their behalf as well as The Candle Ranch to donate to help raise funds for injured bull riders and those in the industry of bull riding. We have also promised that we would promote their own private charities as well, and we donate to them as well. I pray that we can reach goals higher than expected for such a great cause, and to promote the awesome sport of the bull riding industry while helping others.

  • WHY WHEN YOU LIGHT A CANDLE, THE WICK WILL SMOKE?

The candle will smoke until the wax coating on the wick burns off, and then as long as you keep the wick trimmed to 1/4 at all times, our candles are guaranteed not to smoke. If you have a candle that smokes that has been trimmed 1/4 at all times, no wick particals in wax, we guarantee a refund.

  • WHERE CAN WE PURCHASE YOUR CANDLES?

You can purchase our candles online only at this time, we are currently working with several corporations that are interested in carring our products, we will keep you posted, and as soon as our candles are available in stores, we will place it on our site and in our brochures.

  • I DO NOT LIKE USING PAYPAL, WHAT OTHER CHOICES DO I HAVE?

You may contact us at 1-866-268-8244 and place your order, we have our own terminal and can process your order at that time.

  • DO YOU HAVE A CATALOG?

We do not have a catalog at this time, however we hope to create one as a Anniversary of Retail in March 2009. We do have brochures, however online site will keep you updated, since our brochures change seasonally.

  • DO YOU SELL WHOLESALE?

We do sell wholesale however we are very exclusive to our retailers and will not provide candles to those that have existance within 100 miles of each other. Please fill out our form or request a form under WHOLESALE on the front page of our site and we will send you information on becoming a retailer.

  • DO YOU DO PRIVATE LABELING?

GUIDELINES TO BURNING A SAFE CANDLE

Never leave a burning candle unattended!

Keep burning candles away from children and pets.

Do not place near flammable objects such as curtains, walls, etc.

Place on a protected, heat resistant, level surface.

Keep candle free of wick trimmings, matches, or other foreign matter that could be a fire hazard.

Avoid burning in drafts.

Avoid walking with lit candles.

Keep wick trimmed to 1/4 inch at all times to avoid carbon build up on the wick (mushrooming), dark smoking, and soot in the air and on walls or furniture.

Allow candle to cool before trimming wick or relighting.

GUIDELINES TO BURNING A SAFE CONTAINER & JAR CANDLE

To avoid glass containers shattering:

Do not burn a candle in a container that is chipped or cracked.

Do not allow candle to burn completely down to the bottom of container, stop about 1/2 inch short.

Do not allow flame to touch sides of container.

Containers may become very hot, handle with care!

Allow candle to cool before replacing lid on jar.

Container candles; votive containers should be set in a wire holder or on a trivet to protect surfaces from heat.

Hot candle jars can damage furniture.

All candles, especially highly scented ones, will produce some smoke and soot, but proper burning keeping wick trimmed and avoiding drafts, etc.) will help eliminate this problem.

Burn candles 1 hour for each inch of it's diameter,This allows the flame time to melt the wax to the outer edge.

Burning less time will cause the candle to core burn down the middle shorten burn time.

Example: A 3" wide candle should be burned for 3 hours at a time.

Use toenail clippers to trim wicks in jars in which scissors won't fit.

Candles will fade if left in direct sunlight or spotlights for extended periods of time.

Before a party, light and extinguish candles.

They will light more quickly and easily later.

Candles (generally tapers or pillars) refrigerated before using will burn more slowly and evenly.

Wrap in foil or plastic before refrigeration to prevent wicks from absorbing moisture.

To extinguish a candle, use a candle snuffer, or hold fingers in front of the flame and blow.

This will prevent hot wax from splattering on furniture.

PROBLEM SOLVING

If a wick becomes too short to light, carve away enough wax to expose the fresh wick, then trim 1/4 inch off the top of the candle and burn the candle to reform it's appearance.

Crooked burning, If wick moves off center, use a butter knife to gently push it back to center.

If there is a draft, rotating the candle can help.

If soot builds up inside container, clean with a paper towel, lighter fluid or Windex. Wipe over the cleaned area with water dampened paper towel afterward.

Allow the container to dry thoroughly before relighting. Baby wipes work as well!

Clean soiled or scratched candles with old nylons or use a touch of salad oil on a soft cloth.

Remove wax from holders by running very hot water over them.

To remove wax from washable fabrics, scrape off excess wax and run boiling water through the material.
