Youth bull rider competes in World finals[Sep. 5, 2009] CLEARLAKE - Ray Mayo, 9, bettered his showing in Texas this year competing in the Youth Bull Riders 2009 World Finals. The public first learned of Ray's talent when he brought home a ninth place belt buckle last summer. This year he earned a fourth place title and bigger, brighter shinier championship belt buckle.
Young cowboy to compete[Sep. 3, 2009] Alonzo Keith Skunkcap, 11 years old and a sixth grader at Napi Elementary, is a champion cowboy. Alonzo competes in the steer riding, breakaway roping and team roping in the United Indian Rodeo Association, Bear Paw Indian Rodeo Association and Bear Paw Indian Youth Rodeo.
