The owners of Widmer Rock
& Roll Arena in Deep River Iowa have decided to cancel their jackpot
this weekend in order to support the Sid Roseland Memorial Jackpot in
Marshalltown, Iowa. The Sid Roseland Memorialis a fund raiser
for the Iowa High School Rodeo Association, and a very good event.
They have barrel racing, roping events, bull dogging and goat tying.
The breakaway roping is open, and is also a qualifier for the Women's Professional
Rodeo Associaation World Finals.
