Iowa rodeo cowboy, Curtis Stark killed in car accident
[Sep. 30, 2008] On Tuesday, September 30th, that Curtis Stark, 21, Lovilia, Iowa, was killed at approximately 12:30 AM just 2 miles from his home. Curtis is the son of Doug and Cindy Stark and was very active in Iowa High School Rodeo. He had currently been competing in the Iowa Rodeo Cowboy Association (IRCA) and the United States Team Roping Championships (USTRC).(IRCA) and the United States Team Roping Championships (USTRC). McPeakes Give Three Decades To Tennessee Rodeo Youth
[Sep. 9, 2008] Tim and Dianne McPeake have recently retired as Tennessee National Director and Tennessee State Secretary, respectively, from the Tennessee High School Rodeo Association. Tim served as National Director for 18 years and Dianne served as Secretary for 22 years, from 1986 to 2008. In total, they have both worked and held leadership positions in Tennessee Junior Rodeo, Tennessee High School Rodeo and the National High School Rodeo for 30 years. They were two of the charter members in establishing the Tennessee Junior Rodeo Association. Tim served for nine years as that Association’s first President and Dianne was the first Secretary.

[Aug. 12, 2008] Blake Arp, the cowboy injured July 26 when the mount he drew in the National High School Finals Rodeo threw him during the saddle bronc competition and broke Arp's neck, is bored.
