For most competitors, rodeo is not just a sport or a hobby, it's a way of life, and whether they're talking about the lessons the sport teaches, or what it takes to succeed, the words rodeo and dedication are nearly synonymous to most of them.
Distrit VI rodeo tightens up[May 16, 2008] Idaho - The race is getting a little tighter in the all-around standings on the boys side. Rodeo: Club gets a big boost[Apr. 6, 2008] High school rodeo in the far Northern Hills got a big boost Friday at the Belle Fourche and Spearfish High School Rodeo Club’s annual banquet and auction. Club advisor Terri Kissack said Monday that the $12,337 raised at the event will help the club’s 32 young rodeo riders.
Spring rodeo season starts with a bang[Mar. 17, 2008] After a long, cold winter, cowboys and cowgirls across New Mexico couldn't wait to get the rodeo season going again. With Saturday and Sunday's Cody Reed Memorial Rodeo at McGee Park, the high school spring season got under way in style, with fierce competition inside one of the state's premiere facilities.
Other cities bid for National High School Finals Rodeo[Mar. 10, 2008] The National High School Finals Rodeo, an event that once seemed set to return to Springfield in 2012 and perhaps beyond, is now being courted by three other cities. Calgary, Alberta, along with Ocala, Fla., and Des Moines, Iowa, have said they’re interested in the event, which draws about 10,000 participants and spectators annually, according to the National High School Rodeo Association.
