NMSU drops a loop on national rodeo competition[Mar. 10, 2008] The New Mexico State University rodeo team dominated the competition for the second weekend in a row at the University of Arizona National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association rodeo held March 1-2 in Tucson, Ariz.
PRCA promises more involvement in youth rodeo[Jan. 4, 2008] The PRCA sanctions pro rodeo events and thus is not officially affiliated with college rodeo, high school rodeo, junior rodeo, and the Little Britches rodeo program. The PRCA, however, recognizes the value of those youth programs to the professional organization’s future and plans to become more involved with the lower-level programs.
Rodeo pros, amateurs to compete in Norco[Nov. 2, 2007] NORCO, CA - Amateurs, as well as professionals, will compete at Ingalls Park when the 2007 Frahm Dodge California Pro Rodeo Circuit Finals Rodeo is held Nov. 14 -18.
NMSU women's rodeo team rides to first place[Nov. 1, 2007] The New Mexico State University women's rodeo team is rounding up more awards. They placed first overall with a lead of 690 points at the Dine College National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association Rodeo held in Tsaile, Ariz., Oct. 26-27.

Annual Ranger Rodeo starts Thursday[Nov. 1, 2007] The annual Ranger Rodeo presented by Northwestern Oklahoma State University will have its opening performance at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, at the Woods County Fairgrounds Arena. More than 500 student competitors from 20-plus colleges and universities are expected to participate.
CSI rodeo wraps up fall campaign[Oct. 31, 2007] The College of Southern Idaho rodeo team finished its five-rodeo fall schedule last weekend in Cedar City, Utah, at the Southern Utah University Rocky Mountain Region Rodeo.
ENMU men win Tech rodeo[Oct. 30, 2007] The Eastern New Mexico men's rodeo team scored a record 730 points to win the Texas Tech Rodeo during the weekend in Lubbock, with the women's team taking third place.
Hutch Haslem impressed at Helena Bull-fest[Oct. 16, 2007] Former Montana State and Pro Rodeo Cowboys Association circuit champion bull rider Steven Lambert isn't easily impressed, but he saw a lot to like last weekend from one of the newest Bobcats, Hutch Haslem Haslem, a Morgan, Utah, native who already has established himself as one of the top collegiate bull and bareback riders in the Big Sky Region, rode four bulls last weekend to win the Helena Bull-Fest.
Rodeo Weekend for SLCC Students[Sep. 18, 2007] SLCC hosted its first college rodeo of the season this weekend, complete with steer roping and bull riding.
The rodeo was held at W. & M. Butterfield Park in Herriman on Sept 13 and 14. Three members of the college's rodeo team competed in the event. This is the first of 10 regional rodeos participants will compete in prior to finals to be held in June 2008. SLCC is part of the Rocky Mountain region in the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association.
Kiwi cowboy Texas-bound rodeo[Aug. 20, 2007] THE days of building swimming pools appear to be over for Australia-based Gisborne cowboy Fraser Babbington. The 20-year-old is competing full-time in Australia before heading to the United States after being offered three scholarships.
