Female bull rider takes sport by horns
[Jan. 8, 2009] DeeDee Crawford doesn't find riding a 2,000-pound bull all that out of the ordinary for a young woman.

"I rode my first steer when I was 5, so I guess I was bound to move onto something bigger," Crawford said with a laugh. "When I was a kid, I would ride any wild pony or goat or whatever Daddy would bring home to the farm."
