The field is set for the 50th Wrangler National Finals Rodeo[Nov. 11, 2008] With the Wrangler ProRodeo Tour Championship presented by Texas Stampede in Dallas this past weekend in the books the final qualifying event for the 2008 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo has placed its stamp on this year's field of contenders. As Dallas closed its doors the contestants began packing for Las Vegas where from November 4th - 13th in ten rounds of heated competition they will compete for the coveted world titles and the gold buckle that comes with it. Women's rodeo is new to Jackson County Fair[Jul. 30, 2008] BLACK RIVER FALLS, Wis. - Visitors are in store for some new events at this week's Jackson County Fair, including an improved rodeo with new things for spectators and participants alike. Members of the Women's Professional Rodeo Associa-tion will participate in the main event at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Wild West Rodeo, Ginny Olson, member of the Jackson County Fair Board, said. Wrangler ProRodeo Tour and Dodge Xtreme Bulls Come to Reno. NV[Jun. 16, 2008] For the ninth consecutive year, the Reno (Nev.) Rodeo is a highlighted stop on the Wrangler ProRodeo Tour. The event, called the "Wildest, Richest Rodeo in the West," puts a charge into the summer rodeo season and resumes the Wrangler ProRodeo Tour after its last event nearly one month ago in Redding, Calif. The Reno Rodeo is annually one of the PRCA’s most prestigious and lucrative events, offering more than $500,000 in prize money and a coveted set of silver spurs to each event’s average champion. 2008 WPRA World Finals rolls into Tulsa, OK, Nov. 18-22[Jun. 9, 2008] In a joint press conference on June 5, at the Tulsa (Okla.) Expo Square’s Ford Arena, the Tulsa Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Tulsa Expo Square officially welcomed the Women's Professional Rodeo Association (WPRA) and their World Finals, scheduled for Nov. 18-22, to the city of Tulsa. The WPRA Wrangler World Finals Rodeo will feature the best women in the rodeo business competing for world titles in team roping, breakaway roping, tie-down roping, bareback and bull riding. Barrel racing will also be featured and an event champion will be crowned but the world champion will be crowned at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, Dec. 4-13.
