CODY, Wyo. - It was a good weekend for Amber Crowley and the University of Montana women's rodeo team.
Rodeo lawsuit against animal-rights group tossed[Jul. 29, 2008] CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - A federal judge in Wyoming has dismissed a lawsuit filed by the booking company for a Cheyenne rodeo against an animal-rights group. U.S. District Judge William Downes ruled that the lawsuit by the Nebraska-based Romeo Entertainment Group was not filed in the correct state.
Australian Wins Second Cheyenne Frontier Days Event Title[Jul. 24, 2008] The Cheyenne Frontier Days Professional Bull Riders, Inc. (PBR) Copenhagen Bull Riding Challenger Tour stop proved lucrative for Australian young gun Jared Farley (Kempsey, AUS) on Tuesday night at Frontier Park in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Courageous Little Cowgirl Back In The Saddle Again[Jul. 20, 2008] Five-year old Jaycie West, of Philip, South Dakota, will be rewarded for her fighting spirit and determination after suffering a traumatic brain injury. On Sunday, July 20th, Jaycie and her family will be honored guests of the Cheyenne Frontier Days rodeo and will meet rodeo champions who have hearts as big as their names. A peek into Kevin Higley[Jul. 11, 2008] To make a long story short, it is Higley's love of family and rodeo that has kept the longtime Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association (PRCA) member coming back to work the Laramie Jubilee Days rodeo for 20 straight years. It's his booming voice of comical jokes and knee-slapping acts that rodeo crowds at the Albany County Fairgrounds have become so familiar with during the Mr. T Classic Bull Riding and four days of PRCA action.

College Rodeo Alumni Set Annual Reunion[May 7, 2008] The National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association Alumni will have their 17th Annual Reunion June 20 and 21, 2008 at the College National Finals Rodeo in Casper, Wyoming. The reunion will be held at the Parkway Plaza Hotel in Casper and the rodeo is in the Casper Events Center.
Frontier Days "Best Rodeo"[Apr. 28, 2008] Cheyenne Frontier Days, has been named both the nation's best rodeo and best overall event by the readers of American Cowboy magazine. The announcement will appear in the June/July issue of the magazine in a special Readers Choice Awards section.
