Rodeo lawsuit against animal-rights group tossed
[Jul. 29, 2008] CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - A federal judge in Wyoming has dismissed a lawsuit filed by the booking company for a Cheyenne rodeo against an animal-rights group. U.S. District Judge William Downes ruled that the lawsuit by the Nebraska-based Romeo Entertainment Group was not filed in the correct state.

Courageous Little Cowgirl Back In The Saddle Again
[Jul. 20, 2008] Five-year old Jaycie West, of Philip, South Dakota, will be rewarded for her fighting spirit and determination after suffering a traumatic brain injury. On Sunday, July 20th, Jaycie and her family will be honored guests of the Cheyenne Frontier Days rodeo and will meet rodeo champions who have hearts as big as their names. [Jul. 11, 2008] To make a long story short, it is Higley's love of family and rodeo that has kept the longtime Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association (PRCA) member coming back to work the Laramie Jubilee Days rodeo for 20 straight years.
