Country Artist Duncan Shadrack has won the first phase of the 26th Annual Colgate Country Showdown in Spokane Washington. Having won this segment of the competition Duncan will now move on to the next level of the competition at the Thurston Country Fair in Olympia Washington on the 3rd of August 2007. Past winners include Brad Paisley, Garth Brooks, Martina McBride, Billy Ray Cyrus and Sara Evans. The 2007 National Final event took place at the Ryman Auditorium with Grammy award winning LeAnn Rimes hosting the show.
