2008 Mesquite Rodeo Season Closes Saturday September 27th - Races Close for Gold & Silver Buckles
[Sep. 26, 2008] The Mesquite Championship Rodeo closes the chutes on its 2008 season on Saturday (Sept 27), with several races for gold and silver championship buckles too close to call...One of the closest races is in saddle bronc competition. Loren Barber of Slate Shoals, entered on Friday, has taken the lead with $3,157 after winning $475 last weekend. Rodeo continues at Cohen Stadium
[Sep. 17, 2008] PASO - The El Paso Ford Dealers' Southwestern International PRCA Rodeo will continue today through Sunday at Cohen Stadium. Evening performances will be held daily through Saturday, starting at 7:30 p.m. with a matinee Sunday starting at 5 p.m.

Professional Bull Riders Dickies American Worker of the Year - Dallas, TX
[Jun. 23, 2008] 2004 PBR World Champion Mike Lee (Decatur, TX) emerged victorious and took the Dickies American Worker of the Year Invitational presented by Pike Electric event title. Lee added a second 2008 event title to his resume by scoring a total of 262.75 points on three bulls and deposited $28,100 in his bank account.
