With the start of 2010 one of the first events of the year is the big International Finals Rodeo in Oklahoma City, OK.
Tickets for the 40th International Finals Rodeo (IFR) January 15-17 at State Fair Arena are now on sale.
Born in Oklahoma, The IFR determines the World Champions of the International Professional Rodeo Association. The Oklahoma City based association is the sports second largest rodeo association. It sanctions more than 300 rodeos in the United States and Canada. The IFR offers $350,000 in prize money and awards, making it Oklahoma’s largest professional rodeo.
The sport action is mixed with patriotic pageantry, comedy and specialty entertainment. The newly remodeled State Fair Arena features a high-tech, state of the art instant replay screen. Rodeo fans will see the action live and within seconds, bigger than life in slow-motion on the giant screen. This is one of the State Fair Arena’s best annual events.
Tickets are family priced! If purchased by Jan. 9, admission for children 12 and under is just $5 for the Friday night 7:30 p.m. performance and Saturday 1:30 p.m. afternoon matinee performance. You must purchase a full price adult ticket (either $18 or $30) to get a child's ticket for $5. If tickets are purchased after Jan. 9 children's tickets will be half-price $9 or $15.
