New Mexico’s Travis Briscoe (Edgewood, N.M.) rode away with the round one victory after scoring 88 points aboard the bull, Rooster Cogburn, owned by Rafter S Ranch, to edge Wiley Petersen (Fort Hall, Idaho) by .25 points for the round win.
