Kody Lostroh (Longmont, Colo.) took the round two victory with a 91.25 point ride on Tom Teague Bucking Bulls, LLC’s bull, Chance

NEW YORK, N.Y. (January 10, 2009) - The World's Most Famous Arena, Madison Square Garden, hosted the world's best bull riders for round two of the Built Ford Tough Invitational. In the second event of the 2009 Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS) season, Colorado cowboy Kody Lostroh (Longmont, Colo.) took the round two victory with a 91.25 point ride on Tom Teague Bucking Bulls, LLC's bull, Chance-a bull he picked in the second round draft, held earlier in the day at the Hawaiian Tropic Zone. Lostroh added $2,730 to his 2009 PBR earnings.

North Carolina man J.B. Mauney (Mooresville, N.C.) took second place after scoring 89.5 points on the bull, Bad Action, owned by Chad Berger/Clay Struve. Valdiron de Oliveira (Aparecida de Goiania, GO, Brazil) scored 87.5 points on the bull, Frank the Tank (John & Lacey Berger/Clay Struve) and won third place in round two. Rounding out fourth place was 2008 World Finals Event winner Robson Palermo (Rio Branco, Acre, Brazil) who took on Fully Loaded, owned by Chad Berger/Clay Struve, for 87.25 points.

Mike White (De Kalb, Texas) was eligible to compete for the $5,000 Enterprise Rent-A-Car “Ride with the Best” bonus during round two of the Built Ford Tough Invitational due to his round one win. White was bucked off of the bull, Booker T, before the eight second whistle; therefore, the stock contractor, Teague Bucking Bulls, LLC, took home the $5,000 bonus. Team Enterprise rider Kody Lostroh (Longmont, Colo.) will be eligible for the $5,000 check during round three of the competition.

The Built Ford Tough Invitational will wrap up tomorrow as the top 45 bull riders in the world will compete in round three and the Built Ford Tough Championship Round to decide who will take home the coveted event title. Tune-in to VERSUS at 8:00 p.m. EST on Sunday, January 11, to catch all of the action from the Big Apple!
