New York City's PBR Round Two Goes to Colorado Superstar
[Jan. 11, 2009] The World's Most Famous Arena, Madison Square Garden, hosted the world's best bull riders for round two of the Built Ford Tough Invitational. In the second event of the 2009 Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS) season, Colorado cowboy Kody Lostroh (Longmont, Colo.) took the round two victory with a 91.25 point ride on Tom Teague Bucking Bulls, LLC's bull, Chance-a bull he picked in the second round draft, held earlier in the day at the Hawaiian Tropic Zone. Texan Takes Round One Victory in The Big Apple!
[Jan. 10, 2009] NEW YORK, N.Y. (January 9, 2009) - The 2009 Built Ford Tough Invitational brought the best bull riders in the world to The World’s Most Famous Arena, Madison Square Garden, for the second event of the 2009 season. PBR veteran Mike White (De Kalb, Texas) took on the bull, God's Gift, owned by Chad Berger and Clay Struve, for a lucrative 88.25 points - a likely welcomed rematch after White drew the bull twice in the 2008 season, though he was unable to receive a score until now. [Jan. 8, 2009] Reese Cates has been training to be a bull rider since he was 3 years old...Cates, of El Dorado, Ark., who turns 20 on Monday, wanted to be just like his father and grandfather. So he started out riding sheep and trained up to calves. By age 18, he'd become a professional bull rider.
