Chadrad Opens Rodeo Season[Sep. 17, 2008] Nineteen Chadron State College cowboys and cowgirls have entered the rodeo this weekend at Central Wyoming College in Riverton. The action will begin Friday and run through Sunday.
October 8-10 Gary Leffew Bull Riding School[Sep. 14, 2008] The Lancaster Event Center will host a Gary Leffew Bull Riding School before the final stop on the Lancaster Saddle Series. The bulls will be furnished by Double S Bull Company.
Andy Smith takes home Jerry Nolte Memorial Belt Buckle[Aug. 10, 2008] Andy Smith claimed the Jerry Nolte Memorial Buckle given to the champion of the Johnson County Ag and Mechanical Society Extreme Bullriding Tour in front of a capacity crowd. Andy won the event by covering two bulls for 168 points giving him a paycheck of $922.19. Four riders covered bulls in the long go earning them a trip to the short go and paychecks for the night. Tecumseh, NE Next Destination for Extreme Bullriding Tour[Aug. 5, 2008] The Extreme Bullriding Tour is headed for its annual stop in Tecumseh, NE, August 9th. The event will once again be hosted by the Johnson County Ag and Mechanical Society at the Johnson County fairgrounds. The tour will be bringing to town the riders of the National Federation of Professional Bullriders (NFPB) and the Bullriders Of America (BOA) along with the bulls of the Double S Bull Company for a battle of man against beast. ProRodeo Steer Wrestler Levi Wisness Dies Suddenly[Aug. 4, 2008] UPDATED - Funeral arrangements included - ProRodeo steer wrestler Levi Wisness, who had goals of returning to competition next year after recovering from surgery to remove a cancerous tumor from the base of his brain in October 2007, died suddenly Sunday at a friend’s house in Stanley, N.D. Extreme Bullriding Tour Lives Up to Reputation in Geneva, NE[Jul. 17, 2008] You've heard the term "standing room only well at the Extreme Bullriding Tour stop at Fillmore County Fair, Geneva , NE; this term took on new meaning. The turn out was so good that "packed" may be the right term. This was the second year for the Tour to visit the fair. Last year’s event was voted by the members of the Bullriders of America as the New Event of the Year and the Outdoor Event of the Year. The size of the crowd and the roster of top bull riders proves that if you put on a first-class event people return. People will be talking about this one for the next year. Extreme Bullriding Tour returns to Fillmore County Fair - BOA Event of the Year 2007[Jul. 15, 2008] Fillmore County Fair, Geneva, NE, is one of the oldest fairs in Nebraska and has earned a reputation for the quality of the entertainment they offer fair-goers. This year they will be hosting their second Extreme Bullriding Tour event on July 15th starting at 8 PM. Last year this event was voted by the members of the Bullriders of America as the New Event of the Year and the Outdoor Event of the Year. Not bad for a first time event. Comstock Music Series Extreme Bullriding Tour Overall Champion Seth Reynolds[Jul. 13, 2008] The Extreme Bull Riding Tour at the Country Comstock Music Series finished it's second and final day of bullriding with Eric Hopp taking the days championship with a ride of 84 points for a take home pay of $1,134,54. The overall event champion with the highest amount won in both days of riding was Seth Reynolds. Seth was presented a gorgeous Frontier Trophy Buckle by Mark and Donna Studley.
