Horses are main focus of rodeo, but look for the monkeys and dogs, too
[Aug. 7, 2008] Marshall, MN - The Barnes PRCA Rodeo will be at 7:30 p.m. today and Friday at the Lyon County Fairgrounds. Rodeo events include team roping, barrel racing, steer wrestling and bull riding. - This year's rodeo entertainment is Tim "Wild Thang" Lepard and his Team Ghost Riders. Lepard's "Ghost Riders" are exotic monkeys that ride border collies.

Hillsboro's Schumacher rides to the top of the rodeo world
[Dec. 20, 2006] When things go wrong, or the bull simply outsmarts its rider, B.J. Schumacher refers to it as a wreck. Let’s just say the 24-year-old Hillsboro, Wis., man has seen his share of wrecks.

One of them was even a heart-stopper. His heart, that is. The amazing part is that he’s been able to withstand these wrecks, fight through the pain and injuries, and emerge a world champion.
