KANSAS CITY, Mo. (March 2, 2010) - The Professional Bull Riders, Inc. (PBR) elite Built Ford Tough Series continues its tour of the Midwest, stopping in Kansas City, Mo. for three days only! On Friday, March 5 at 8 p.m., Saturday, March 6 at 6:50 p.m. and Sunday, March 7 at 2 p.m. at the Sprint Center, PBR fans will witness four action-packed performances from the Top 40 bull riders in the world as they battle the toughest animal athletes on the planet.

At the Built Ford Tough Invitational, PBR fans can look forward to seeing world-class rides from 2009 PBR World Champion Kody Lostroh (Longmont, Colo.); 2008 PBR World Champion and three-time Kansas City event winner Guilherme Marchi (Leme, SP, Brazil); current No. 1 in the BFTS World Standings J.B. Mauney (Mooresville, N.C.); and locals Luke Snyder (Raymore, Mo.) and Skeeter Kingsolver (Mclouth, Kan.). The heart-pounding, bone-crushing action will also feature 2010 Iron Cowboy winner Valdiron de Oliveira (Aparecida de Goiania, GO, Brazil); and PBR Superstars Austin Meier (Kinta, Okla.), Travis Briscoe (Edgewood, N.M.), and Wiley Petersen (Fort Hall, Idaho).

The Built Ford Tough Invitational will consist of four rounds of competition with the first three rounds featuring the world’s best bull riders randomly matched against the PBR’s top bulls. The scores from the three rides will be combined, and the Top 15 riders will advance to the Built Ford Tough Championship Round following intermission on Sunday afternoon where they will compete with one more bull. In the end, the rider with the highest total scores on four bulls will be declared the winner.
