Briscoe Moves to No. 2 in Built Ford Tough Series Standings
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (March 9, 2008) - The Cabela’s Classic served up rank bulls and plenty of 90-plus point rides when stop No. 11 on the Professional Bull Riders’ (PBR) Built Ford Tough Series presented by Wrangler (BFTS) hit Kansas City’s Sprint Center, March 8-9. Fans were treated to the best 45 bull riders in the world all gunning for the tour’s million dollar World Championship title.

Marchi Holds No. 1 Spot
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (March 8, 2008) - The Sprint Center hosted the Professional Bull Riders, Inc. (PBR) tonight for the first of two action-packed performances of the Cabela’s Classic. The event is stop No. 11 on the Built Ford Tough Series presented by Wrangler (BFTS). Round two rolls into action on Sunday, Mar. 9 starting at 2 p.m. Smoking gun Pistol Robinson (Burleson, Texas) rode away with the lead in round one. Robinson scored 89.5 points aboard D&H Cattle Company’s The Geetus to edge Brazilian sensation Valdiron de Oliveira (Aparecida de Goiania) by 1.5 points for the round win. De Oliveira covered Shane Davis, Ravenscroft and Hewkin’s bull Bigger Man for 88 points

The Professional Bull Riders, Inc. brings its elite Built Ford Tough Series presented by Wrangler (BFTS) to the Sprint Center in Kansas City on March 8 & 9, 2008. The Cabela’s Classic gets underway at 6:50 p.m. on Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday. The BFTS tours the country with the world’s Top 45 bull riders each striving for the $1,000,000 PBR World Champion title. This is the PBR’s ONLY televised event stop in Kansas City during the 2008 season.
