Bright country music star rises in West
[Jun. 26, 2008] Country singer Emily West's thoughts were on Iowa over the last couple of weeks. Born and raised in Waterloo, West has been in contact with friends in her hometown and nearby Parkersburg from her home in Nashville.

[Sep. 9, 2007] Thirty-two of the top riders in the Midwest matched their skills against the Attack Pack of the Double S Bull Company in a night of competition that not only left everyone on the edge of their seats but benefited the women and children who are helped daily by the Green Hills Women’s Shelter in Trenton, Missouri. Joined by sponsors and the support of the community the Extreme Bullriding Tour produced an event that spectators will be talking about for a long time to come.
