On March 2nd and 3rd Chicago was the site of the first tour finals of the new Professional Championship Bullriding. This may be their first finals but as all their events have proven this year, they do know how to put on a show! The new Sears Centre was the location and that in itself was a major plus for this new event. ( Link for Sears Centre
From a contestants viewpoint the event which was sanctioned by the National Federation of Professional Bullriders featured a selection of award winning bull riders. Looking over the list of qualifiers we saw many names of young bull riders I have enjoyed watching ride many times and can attest to their skills as well as the thrills a fan gets watching them. Among the qualifiers was our own bull riding director, Seth Reynolds. Seth just completed college and is now able to ride full time and spend even more time as Bull Riding Director for Rodeo Attitude. Another highly ranked bull rider was Rodeo Attitude member, Jody Newberry, who finished second. You can get a complete list of the standings at this link: http://www.pcbtour.com/2006Standings.html
This tour is noted for its use of top bulls. Several of the bulls are provided by members of the Rodeo Attitude Program as well. High Risk Bucking Bulls will be bringing several of their award winning bulls ready to join the other contractors to give the cowboys a real "run for their money"!
