Second go gets started at state rodeo finals[Jun. 13, 2008] Thursday's opening two perfomances of the second go of the Idaho High School Rodeo Finals are in the books at the Bannock County Fairgrounds in Pocatello, and the strong performances of several locals put them into contention.
Distrit VI rodeo tightens up[May 16, 2008] Idaho - The race is getting a little tighter in the all-around standings on the boys side. Cody Wadsworth of Kimberly, with 219 points, holds only a 33-point lead over Jarrett VanBiezen of Filer (186). Kindee Wilson of Filer has a commanding 72-point lead over Megan Crist of Kimberly.
Idaho - District V bull rider injured[Apr. 28, 2008] The District VI's loss had been the District V's gain since standout cowboy J2 Bridges, who competed for Filer last year, moved into the area and now rides for Valley.
Idaho High School Rodeo State Finals[Jun. 18, 2007] The cowboys and cowgirls get the sports scene almost entirely to themselves this week, when the high school state finals rodeo begins today at the Pocatello Fairgrounds.
District VI kicks off 2007 rodeo season[Mar. 25, 2007] There were some familiar names that claimed wins and a couple of rookie cowgirls that made their high school rodeo debuts in a big way as District VI opened its 2007 rodeo season on Friday night at the College of Southern Idaho at Eldon Evans Expo Center in the Shawn Davis Arena.
