Rodeo Worship Service Is Sunday[Aug. 7, 2008] The worship service for the annual Gerry Rodeo will be at 9 a.m. Sunday in the rodeo arena with music by the IHS Dixieland Band and testimonies about their faith by two of the rodeo performers.

Culligan and Bass earn rodeo championships[Oct. 18, 2007] Okeechobee High School sophomore Maci Culligan earned her first high school rodeo championship at the two-day Branford rodeo held on Oct. 6 and 7. Culligan placed fourth on Saturday and first on Sunday in the breakaway competition, earning her the championship title for the weekend.
