Watch history in the making at the Mohegan Sun Invitational!

Pueblo, Colo. (September 23, 2007) – Fans in Uncasville, Connecticut at the Mohegan Sun Invitational will get to witness a part of PBR history as Luke Snyder (Raymore, Mo.) sets a new record for competing in the most consecutive PBR events in on September 28-30, 2007. The record is currently 197 events in a row, which was held by “Iron Man” J.W. Hart (Marietta, Okla.) and tied by Snyder in Grand Rapids, Mich. on September 21 – 22, 2007.

The Missouri cowboy started his historic run on February 4, 2001 at the Built Ford Tough Series presented (BFTS) by Wrangler event in Guthrie, Okla. Since then he’s won three event titles – including the prestigious PBR World Finals event in 2001. The 2001 Finals win earned Snyder $81,302 and helped him clinch the PBR Rookie of the Year honors.

Snyder has been a consistent force on the BFTS tour with 14 90-point rides and an average ride score of 86.19 over the course of his career. The 2007 PBR Built Ford Tough World Finals this fall will mark Snyder’s seventh consecutive Finals.

“When you ride bulls for a living, you can’t control whether or not you get hurt, or everybody would be the ‘Iron Man’,” Snyder said. “I can’t believe that it’s come this far. I’m just very fortunate to stay healthy and to now be considered in the same company as “Iron Man” J.W. Hart.”

Snyder will break the record this weekend at the Mohegan Sun Invitational. Tickets for the Mohegan Sun Invitational are on sale now, starting at $15.00 and are available via Ticketmaster.com, the Mohegan Sun Arena box office or via phone at 860 886 0070. With virtually three hours of pulsating, non-stop rock and roll action offering the only available up close and personal look of the best men and bulls in the world, the Mohegan Sun Invitational is a must for bull riding fans.

All PBR Built Ford Tough Series events are aired on VERSUS each Saturday and Sunday night. The Mohegan Sun Invitational; however, will air on FOX on Sunday, September 30. Check your local listings for additional details.
