[Jul. 8, 2009] A six-year-old American Bucking Bull weighing 1,500 pounds, Jacob's Pet has only been ridden once in 17 tries over the course of last season and so far this season in Professional Bull Riders events. He's tossed 16 cowboys in an average of about four seconds each in those 17 trips.
 
3 Moffat County cowboys, cowgirls take home saddles at Little Britches Rodeo
[Jul. 6, 2009] Although there might have been more than 180 youths competing at the Moffat County Fairgrounds, Gabbi Steele was only concerned with one.Herself.
Steele, a Moffat County High School sophomore, said she was only thinking about her performance during the weekend’s Moffat County Little Britches Rodeo.
 
Cowboy recovering from horse kick at Snowmass Rodeo
[Jul. 4, 2009] SNOWMASS VILLAGE — A Greeley man was released from a Denver hospital Friday after being kicked in the mouth by a horse Wednesday at the Snowmass Rodeo.

Jared Roth, 21, underwent surgery for facial injuries and was scheduled to return to his hometown, said Chris Kelly, executive director of the Snowmass Western Heritage Association, which produces the rodeo.

“We don't have a lot of incidents like this,” Kelly said, “but rodeos can be a risky venture.”
 
Little Britches Rodeo comes to Moffat County

[Jun. 30, 2009] The mother of a 12-year-old bull rider who was killed over the weekend said Monday her son died doing what he loved and that no one is to blame for his death.
