January 19 Mike White Wins Fresno, CA PBR BFTS

The Table Mountain Casino Invitational, part of the Built Ford Tough Series presented by Wrangler, was held on Friday, January 19 at the Save Mart Center on the campus of Fresno State University. Mike White won the event with 173 points on two bulls. He rode Mr. Harrison owned by Rice Ranch with a bull score of 43.50 and an overall score of 88.25 in the long go for a second place tie. I had predicted this would be one of the best match-ups of the event and neither the bull nor the rider let us down. In the short go he rode 7 of Hearts with a bull score of just 41.75 but his riding skill earned him an 84.75 and the championship.

The Fresno event will be showcased in a network television broadcast on Sat Jan 20 4:30 PM ET

Rodeo Attitude members had quite a few bulls at this event. Rice Ranch will have three bulls out. One of these match-ups is Mr. Harrison with Mike White and that was my pick as my favorite match up for the event. Mr. Harrison is one bull I feel deserves more credit than he gets and there is no question about the riding ability of Mike White.
