Centonis personify Rowell Ranch Rodeo
[May 5, 2007] Rodeo events are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. May 19 and 20 at the arena, 9711 Dublin Canyon Road, off Interstate 580 on the Dublin Grade. Gates will open at 10 a.m., and visitors can meet cowboys and cowgirls in the arena on both days before the rodeos start.

Strohn on the Range
[Feb. 7, 2007] For 13-year-old Blane Strohn, rodeos are a family affair.

Strohn, who was recently named a state captain of the Wrangler All-Star Rodeo Team, said he started roping animals when he was 4 years old. He was inspired by his grandfathers, who both competed in rodeos and worked on ranches. In fact, everyone in Strohn's family knows how to wrangle.
