Professional Bull Riders Brought the Action to Salinas Tonight
[Jul. 16, 2009] Salinas, CA - July 16, 2009- The Professional Bull Riding US Smokeless Tobacco Challenger Tour event held on Wednesday July 15th was a crowd pleaser as almost 5,000 people witnessed man versus beast at it’s best. Forty-two of the top professional bull riders in the US gathered at the Salinas Sports Complex to hang on for 8 seconds for their shot to win part of the $35,000 purse. By Mandy Roth
 
Professional Bull Riding Kicks off Big Week
[Jul. 16, 2009] Salinas, Calif- Thousands of people were at the Salinas Sports Complex Wednesday for the Professional Bull Riding event. Whether you are a seasoned veteran at rodeos, or a first time fan, there's something about bull riding cowboys that draws crowd, "I'm just looking forward to really just what's it all about with the bull riding," said Denise Moorehead, who brought her two sons to the PBR from Walnut Creek.
 
Bull riders hang on in Salinas

  It was every bit the challenge for the 40 Pro Bull Riders at the Salinas Sports Complex on Wednesday night in the Challenger Tour, a level considered one notch below the elite Built Ford Tough Series.
 
Salinas Rodeo Carnival has ride from Michael Jackson's Neverland
[Jul. 10, 2009] In December, Butler Amusements purchased seven rides from an auction at Neverland Ranch, including a Lolli Swing that's in Salinas this week."It was ridden by Michael countless times," said Kelsey Lopresto, manager of the Rodeo Carnival and 29-year veteran of the carnival circuit. "It's a beautiful ride. When he bought rides, he got all the extras."
