Some have deformities, some are overweight, some need extra medical attention and some just need a home, but for all the animals living at the Forever Home Donkey Rescue & Sanctuary between Benson and Cascabel, love is the main ingredient. John and Tish Hiestand provide that love and care to the 13 donkeys, two mules and a horse at their farm located about 12 miles north of Interstate 10.
