DENVER, CO - Beau Schroeder has some momentum behind him and is hoping to keep it going.
The Beaumont, Texas, resident won the Bull’s Night Out event last Wednesday at the Fort Worth Stock Show Rodeo. Just two days later, he was in Denver for the National Western Stock Show.
Schroeder, who is a former National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association bull riding champion made his first round ride in the Denver Coliseum Friday night. He rode the Guidry Rodeo Company bull named Wasp Springs, for 84 points. He will have his second appearance here at the Saturday morning performance which begins at 11 a.m.
The Saturday matinee performance will feature the final group of contestants and when it concludes, the first round will be complete. It begins at 3:30. The Saturday evening performance begins at 8 p.m. and when it is finished, the second round will be paid off and the field for Sunday’s finals will be set.
