SAN ANTONIO, Texas ---Marcus Michaelis and Bennette Barrington have done it again. They won their respective events in the AT&T Center for the third night in a row.
Barrington has been the most consistent barrel racer here so far stopping the clock in 13.99, 14.05 and 14.00 seconds. The Lubbock, Texas, cowgirl has been at the top of the leader board in every round and pocketed $6,223 so far with one more round to go before the semi-finals.
Michaelis is the only bull rider out of all the contestants to win three rounds. He has had scores of 86, 92 and 91. On Tuesday night it was Andrews Rodeo’s Red Onion that he earned the 91 on. He got to take his third victory lap in front of rodeo fans and added another $2,074 to his earnings here. Michaelis is second in the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association world standings.
