Boettcher earned $4,489 with his 90-point ride on Carr Pro Rodeo’s Hood Figure.
Other Pecos winners were: saddle bronc rider Cody DeMoss of Heflin, La., 88 points on Carr Pro Rodeo’s Hard Drive, $4,147; tie-down roper Joseph Parsons of Marana, Ariz., 20.8 seconds on three head, $3,666; steer wrestler Mickey Gee of Wichita Falls, Texas, 9.2 seconds on two head, $4,414; team ropers Travis Tryan of Billings, Mont./Michael Jones of Stephenville, Texas, 14.7 seconds on two head, $3,880; steer roper Rod Hartness of Pawhuska, Okla., 43.2 seconds on three head, $4,778; and barrel racer Stephanie Fryar of Big Spring, Texas, 17.62 seconds, $3,160.

At Rodeo de Santa Fe (N.M.), reigning World Champion Bull Rider Wesley Silcox and three-time World Champion Bareback Rider Will Lowe were among the champions in New Mexico’s capital city.

Silcox, of Payson, Utah, rode Harry Vold’s Dress Code for 87 points, good for $5,458. Lowe, of Canyon, Texas, earned $3,919 after his 85-point ride aboard Harry Vold’s Classic T.
