The PRCA's 61st National Convention kicks off Dec. 3 and runs through Dec. 6 at the South Point Hotel and Casino.
For the second year in a row, the South Point Hotel and Casino is playing host to the annual convention, which features an impressive list of speakers as well as a variety of sessions geared to the betterment of professional rodeo.
Experts from various rodeo venues will mediate roundtable forums and present ideas to help sharpen skills and gain practical knowledge in the world of rodeo marketing.
Roundtable topics are scheduled to include information such areas as marketing to the non-rodeo fan, advertising on a small budget, negotiating and hiring contract acts, working with national sponsors, media and stock contractors and much more.
In addition, PRCA Chairman of the Board Keith Martin will deliver the annual State of the PRCA address on Dec. 4 at 2 p.m. PT, with additional highlights coming in the form of a session on rodeo insurance and a question-and-answer session with PRCA event representatives.
The 21st Annual PRCA Welcome Reception on Dec. 4 at 6 p.m. PT kicks off the contestants' arrival in Las Vegas for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo.
