History was made Jan. 19 at the National Western Stock Show and Rodeo in Denver when the show sold 68,610 tickets, the largest crowd in its 102-year history. The previous record was 68,357, set in 1999.

The show also appears headed toward an overall attendance record on the heels of the largest opening day ever on Jan. 12 with 44,616 visitors, smashing the previous best of 41,000 set in 2006.
