A packed house of 17,341 fans created an electric atmosphere as the $5.625 million event kicked off at the Thomas & Mack Center, and the contestants and stock responded in fine form. Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association Standings Going into 50th Wrangler National Finals[Dec. 1, 2008] The Super Bowl of Rodeo \will begin in Las Vegas on December 4th at the Thomas and Mack Arena on the ULV campus with the top 15 in the PRCA World Standings competing not only for world titles but record breaking purses. The field is set for the 50th Wrangler National Finals Rodeo[Nov. 11, 2008] With the Wrangler ProRodeo Tour Championship presented by Texas Stampede in Dallas this past weekend in the books the final qualifying event for the 2008 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo has placed its stamp on this year's field of contenders. As Dallas closed its doors the contestants began packing for Las Vegas where from November 4th - 13th in ten rounds of heated competition they will compete for the coveted world titles and the gold buckle that comes with it.
