Etbauer undergoes ankle surgery, plans to be back next month
[Jul. 14, 2007] As it turns out, Billy Etbauer's broken left ankle won’t keep him out for as long as he feared. Following surgery on Friday in which doctors inserted two screws into the ankle where it meets the shinbone, or tibia, a relieved Etbauer declared himself on the mend and hoped to be back riding as soon as the first weekend in August. Two-time Wrangler NFR bareback rider William Pittman injured, out at least six months
[Jul. 6, 2007] Bareback rider William Pittman II, seriously injured during competition in the Greeley (Colo.) Stampede, has undergone spinal surgery at the North Colorado Medical Center and is facing at least six months of rehabilitation before determining whether he can continue his rodeo career.
