Tallman, Polhamus, Corley return as the voices of Wrangler NFR[Oct. 3, 2007] Bob Tallman, Boyd Polhamus and Randy Corley, the three most decorated rodeo announcers of their generation, will return to the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas Dec. 6-15 to give voice to the $5.5 million Wrangler National Finals Rodeo. It marks the 12th consecutive year that Tallman, the eight-time and reigning PRCA Announcer of the Year, has been paired with Polhamus for the Wrangler NFR. Corley, a 10-time PRCA Announcer of the year, will be making his ninth appearance at the season-ending championships. By Courtesy PRCA
AEG ACQUIRES INTEREST IN GRIT ROCK RODEO[Oct. 1, 2007] Premier Music Brand and Leading Events Producer to Help Grow the Sport of RodeoDenver and Los Angeles - October 1, 2007 - AEG has acquired an ownership interest in Grit Rock Rodeo, one of the world’s leading producers of live and televised rodeo events, it was jointly announced by the organizations. AEG Events and Media, a live entertainment division of Los Angeles-based AEG, in partnership with Grit Rock Rodeo, will jointly own and operate the new venture, with the goal of expanding the number of events, television broadcasts and fans. Grit Rock Rodeo operates the Wrangler ProRodeo Tour and the World’s Toughest Rodeo, which includes the World’s Toughest Bulls & Broncs and Toughest Cowboy.

Austin makes his return to bull riding on October 6[Sep. 26, 2007] Wills Point, Texas – Sept. 25, 2007 – 2005 World Champion Bull Rider Matt Austin is eyeing his return to competition on October 6 after being sidelined for nine months. Austin, of Wills Point, Texas, plans to compete at the Championship Bull Riding (CBR) Eldorado Resort Casino Tuff Hedeman Louisiana Shootout in Bossier City. Austin is a two-time CBR World Champion.
