Reporters still facing jail
[Dec. 23, 2006] Yahoo.com reported Thursday that the FBI is investigating allegations that defense attorney Troy Ellerman leaked secret grand jury testimony about Barry Bonds and Jason Giambi to San Francisco Chronicle reporters. But a brief filed by federal prosecutors yesterday says the government still wants to force Mark Fainaru-Wada and Lance Williams to name their source or go to jail.

However, as a Board we are obliged to address mis-statements and allegations with regard to Troy Ellerman and his performance as PRCA Commissioner during the past two years. PRCA calendar change could hurt NILE
[Dec. 14, 2006] The PRCA board of directors recently made a decision to establish a new cut-off date. For 2007, the cut-off date will be Sept. 30. That means the NILE rodeo, held in October, will not count in the 2007 world standings. The 2008 season will begin Oct. 1, putting the NILE among the first rodeos of the new year. The NILE, the highest-paying rodeo in Montana, will also not count for the 2007 Montana Pro Rodeo Circuit standings. By JOE KUSEK

WORLD CHAMPIONS CROWNED IN LAS VEGAS - Canadian Report
[Dec. 10, 2006] As the National Finals Rodeo came to a conclusion this evening, outgoing world champion steer wrestler Lee Graves (Calgary, Alta.) cashed in once again, placing fifth in the final round, twisting his steer in 4.7 seconds. It topped up his total money earned at the WNFR to $47,117.
Although he didn’t reach his ultimate goal, he thought his week went fairly well.
