Vegas calling Griswold back to the National Finals Rodeo[Oct. 3, 2008] Bobby Griswold is drawn by the City of Lights...It's not the casinos or elaborate shows. It's not the mammoth resorts or the desert weather...No, for Griswold - one of the elite saddle bronc riders in the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association for 19 years – his December venture to Las Vegas is the culmination of another tremendous year riding bucking horses. Pro Rodeo Mounrs the Death of Nancy Vold[Sep. 30, 2008] Nancy Kay Vold, part of one of Pro Rodeo's most legendary families, died on September. 26 due to complications from diabetes. She was 48. The battle continues between Jim Warren and the PRCA. Each side has their opinion of how the PRCA should operate and by now you have heard arguments from supporters on each side regarding how they believe Jim's proposals will affect the future of professional rodeo. Wrangler ProRodeo Tour - Ariat Playoffs return to FSN starting week of Sept. 1[Sep. 2, 2008] Fox Sports Net (FSN) is scheduled to begin televising the action from the 2008 Wrangler ProRodeo Tour and Ariat Playoffs the week of Sept. 1. The popular Ariat Playoffs format will continue in 2008 with three telecasts hosted by the Caldwell (Idaho) Night Rodeo. The first featuring the preliminary round action of the Ariat Playoffs - Caldwell Round, with the second telecast highlighting the semifinal round featuring the top eight in the two-head aggregate and the third telecast will highlight the final four competitors. World, DNCFR champions headline 2008 Pocatello field[Feb. 25, 2008] The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) announced the field of contestants who have qualified for the 2008 Dodge National Circuit Finals Rodeo (DNCFR) presented by U. S. Smokeless Tobacco on March 19-22, at the Holt Arena at Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho. The DNCFR is the crowning event of the PRCA’s 12 circuit system of regional competition.
Paying fees through the PRCA Office[Dec. 11, 2007] One of the big discussions at this year's convention was the proposed change in paying entry fees and payment of winnings for all PRCA rodeos through the home office via credit caard and direct deposit to contestants bank account.
Prairie Circuit Finals to feature Scott Grover[Oct. 18, 2007] Long time Rodeo Attitude member, Scott Grover, will be announcing with Tim Fuller at this year's Prairie Circuit Finals. For the first time the finals are being held in conjunction with the American Royal in Kansas City on October 24-27.
