SALINAS, CA July 18, 2009 – The sun was shining over the largest rodeo in California today as the third performance of the 99th California Rodeo Salinas showcased cowboys and cowgirls from around the country. Specialty act Tomas Garcilazo showed his ability to entertain the crowd with this amazing rope and horse handling talents. Brian Potter also kept the audience in high spirits and laughter with his clown acts on the track. The freestyle bullfights got everyone pumped and ended the show with a bang. Attendance for the Saturday show was up 34.5% with a total ticket number of 14,325.
The final performance of the 99th California Rodeo Salinas will start at 1pm on Sunday July 19th.The California Rodeo Salinas will celebrate 100 Years of Tradition July 15-18, 2010.
