PBR star Rotten Cotton takes final lap in front of hometown crowd
[Sep. 24, 2007] One of the greatest animal athletes in the sport of rodeo got a hero's welcome Saturday night when he returned to his hometown.

Rotten Cotton, a bull that was born in the spring of 1998 on the Tom Williard ranch near Burden, will soon retire from the sport. In observance of his retirement, the bull circled the arena at the 10th annual Burden Bull Riding, earning a standing ovation.
 
Wild Card Classic leads up to World Finals Wednesday
[Sep. 24, 2007] Enid, OK-American Bucking Bull Inc. (ABBI) presents Wild Card Classic at 5 p.m. today and Tuesday, which will lead to World Finals Classic at 7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. PLUS-Thursday night Justin McBride's debut as country singer and release of his debut album!

[Sep. 23, 2007] Event organizer Marc Andrus said the tour is a chance for riders to earn money and make their way up in the rankings for the bull riding finals. Cash prizes for the event ranged from $3,000 to $400, he said.

Rodeo to benefit Moore Foundation once again
[Aug. 8, 2007] The Professional Cowboy Association Championship Rodeo to be held this weekend is about more than bucking broncos and wild cowboy rides in the same way the death of a 16-year-old girl in 1997 has proven to be as much about living as dying. Funds from the Rodeo, to be held Friday and Saturday nights at the City of Foley Horse Arena on Ala. Highway 59 North, will once again go to the Jennifer Claire Moore Foundation, a United Way agency, and for the ninth year teens in Baldwin County will have a shoulder as it were to lean on where adolescent crises and pressures are concerned.

Canadian Superior Energy Inc. Announces Evening Bulls and Barrels for Charity Event During Calgary Stampede
[Jun. 19, 2007] It's called Bulls and Barrels for Charity Rodeo and it will likely be the most exciting private corporate function in the Calgary area during Stampede week. Certainly it will be the most unique.

The two-day event is scheduled for the evenings of July 11-12, 2007 and is being sponsored by Canadian Superior Energy Inc. and other corporate sponsors and it will be held at Canadian Superior's Chairman Greg Noval's family's large scenic ranch on the Sheep River about five miles west of Turner Valley.
