FRESNO, Calif. (January 16, 2009) - The Professional Bull Riders, Inc. (PBR) top 45 bull riders in the world invaded Fresno, Calif., for the 2009 Table Mountain Casino Invitational. On the third stop on the prestigious Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS), Kody Lostroh (Longmont, Colo.) left the Save Mart Center victorious after riding two bulls, including Julio Moreno Bucking Bulls’ prize animal, Troubadour, for a total of 183.25 points. Lostroh collected a check for $60,960 during the one-night stop.
“It always feels great to win,” Lostroh stated in the winner’s circle, “but being able to get on great bulls like Troubadour and win feels even better.”
In round one, Lostroh covered Priest Creek Ranch’s Little Bighorn for 88.75 points and the first round victory. He chose first in the PBR Bull Draft and decided on a familiar foe, Troubadour. He rode the top animal for 94.5 points and the Built Ford Tough Championship Round victory. These two rides kept Lostroh's 2009 riding percentage at 100% and with this win, he continues to build his lead in the 2009 World Standings.<!--[if !supportLineBreakNewLine]-->
“Troubadour is the best bull going and I would pick him every time,” the Colorado superstar said. “I guess when I knew it was going to be good was when the whistle blew and I was not on my head.”
