October 13-14, Columbus, Ohio PBR

With all eyes on Columbus, Ohio, and the final opportunity for riders to qualify for the PBR World Finals this was one of the biggest weeks in the 2006 season for the PBR. At the last stop Mike White reached a highlight in his carrer as he has now passes the Two Million Dollar mark. Another big move at the last event was Mike White cemented his spot in the world finals in Las Vegas by moving from #49 to #30 on the last night of the regular season. Just as big, is the news that the 2007 schedule was released on October 11th, ending speculation as to which events will make the cut and what cities will reap the benefits of hosting what has become the fastest growing sport in America today. In my honest opinion, I believe that bull riding has become a major league sport in America and that the PBR is without a doubt the major league of bull riding. The popularity of the sport is evident whether you attend a small town rodeo or a stand alone event. When the chute opens and the first rider enters the arena no one is at the concession stand because they are ready for the action!
