[Nov. 8, 2008] Brazilian Renato Nunes took round five on Friday, as Guilherme Marchi all but clinches his world champion title and JB Mauney rides his 5th bull in a row By Mary Rudloff

It's 90 or nothing at the PBR World Finals Round 5
[Nov. 7, 2008] First of all, for those of you that read my news and notes prior to round 5 I'm happy to report that I thought I would bet on the amount of rides we see tonight and by golly I was dead on. It was 24 bull riders that made the whistle and you had to be in the 90 point class to get the share of the money on Friday night. By J.W. Kinder Pro Rodeo Announcer

News and notes prior to Round 5
[Nov. 7, 2008] I just wanted to update a few of you going into tonight’s round 5. Last night we saw a new Dickies Dura bull fighter from Canada. Jesse Byrne has replaced Joe Baumgardner from last week’s accident and there will again be four lifesavers on the floor of the Thomas and Mack arena.

It was reported late last night that there were 2 injuries that needed to be addressed going into the Friday night's round, L.J. Jenkins was listed as probable and has been cleared as of 3 pm pacific to compete. By J.W. Kinder Pro Rodeo Announcer

21-year old bull rider JB Mauney keeps adding to his buckle collection
[Nov. 7, 2008] Taking his third go-round win out of four rounds of the PBR World Finals, Mauney is the one to catch for the World Finals title, while he nips at the heels of Guilherme Marchi in the year end points race By Mary Rudloff

The Bulls take the spotlight in Vegas during ABBI events
[Nov. 5, 2008] It's Wednesday and Amercians are still buzzing about the election results from last night. A day that will forever be marked as a first and historical moment in the United States. However, the bulls at the Thomas and Mack don't seem to care who we elected to office, the only thing that matters is whether they get to perform for their owners. By J.W. Kinder Pro Rodeo Announcer

Veterans split round three of the PBR World Finals
[Nov. 2, 2008] Buddies Ross Coleman and Brendon Clark put up identical 90.75 point rides as the first weekend of riding winds down in Las Vegas. By Mary Rudloff

Best Friends split Round III

From the rideable to the rank: What a difference a day makes
[Nov. 2, 2008] Saturday night's round two of the PBR World Finals brought out the toughest bulls, and sent many cowboys from the arena scoreless ... that is unless your name is JB Mauney, who swept his second round in a row By Mary Rudloff

The Rank Pen of Bulls Ruled Round 2
[Nov. 1, 2008] The Thomas and Mack Arena was alive and buzzing from last night's record setting evening.

Tonight however the feel around the building for the PBR fans was somewhat subdued. The majority of spectators I spoke to were no strangers to the rank pen that was involved in this round. These PBR fans are really keen on what the powerhouse lined up looked like. I'm telling you that most of these fans know the ins and outs of just about every bull that's been on Versus this year. By J. W. Kinder, Pro Rodeo Announcer

A Preview to Round 2 of PBR World Finals
[Nov. 1, 2008] As I arrived at the Thomas and Mack arena tonight, I couldn't help but reflect on the opening night from several of the fans from last night. I proceeded to the media room inside and found the daysheet with all the match-ups of the evening. An earlier press release from last night had stated by Cody Lambert, livestock director of the PBR that "the riders had there way with the bulls last night but tonight the bulls will have there way with the riders".

It's a record setting night in Las Vegas at the 15th anniversary of the PBR
[Oct. 31, 2008] The monster mash was on at the Thomas and Mack n opening night of the PBR World Finals. If it wasn't the monster mash it could have been mistaken for the bull mash because it was a record for bulls being ridden at a PBR World Finals and at a Built Ford Tough Event. The venue has changed and for the first time in 15 years the Thomas and Mack, home to the UNLV Runnin Rebels decided to take the basketball floor up and host both weekends at the UNLV Campus. This is my 7th year covering the action from the arena floor for the Rodeo Attitude team and have I got a night to brag about. By J. W. Kinder, Pro Rodeo Announcer
