(PBR) tonight with the first of two thrilling performances of the Tacoma Invitational. The event is stop No. 13 on the Built Ford Tough Series presented by Wrangler (BFTS). Earning top honors in round one was Renato Nunes (Buritama, Sao Paulo, Brazil), who scored 90.5 points on Nasty Town owned by Red Knection K Bucking Bulls. Colby Yates (Ft. Worth, Texas) finished half a point shy of Nunes to take second place in the go round aboard Tighty Whitey, owned by Kaycee Simpson. Round two rocks into action on Sunday, Mar. 16 starting at 2 p.m., and culminates with the Built Ford Tough Championship round featuring the top 15 qualifiers. The event airs on VERSUS on Sunday, Mar. 16 at 8 p.m. EST.
Portland Invitational Results Are In[Mar. 15, 2008] It was once again two-time reserve world champion and current world standings leader, Guilherme Marchi (Leme, Sao Paulo, Brazil), who rode to victory. Marchi faced Chad Berger/Ryken/Larson’s Copperhead Slinger in the championship round earning 92.25 points and a cumulative score on two bulls of 183 points. He pocketed $40,320 in PBR bucks for his efforts.
Ten cowboys move on to the Copenhagen Bull Riding Challenger Tour Finals presented by Dickies[Feb. 16, 2008] The Express Open Qualifying event wrapped up this afternoon from Oklahoma City's Ford Center. Kolt Donaldson (Idabel, Okla.) took top honors on two bulls with 178.25 points and added $18,000 in PBR bucks to his pocket. With the event win he qualified he solidified his spot in the weekend’s Copenhagen Bull Riding Challenger Tour Finals presented by Dickies.
Oklahoma cowboy claims first round of the Express Open[Feb. 16, 2008] The first round of the Express Open qualifying event kicked off tonight from Oklahoma City's Ford Center. Each of the cowboys are vying for a spot in the Copenhagen Bull Riding Challenger Tour Finals presented by Dickies which gets underway tomorrow night. It was Kolt Donaldson (Idabel, Okla.) who took top honors in the round and claimed the $12,000 purse. Donaldson scored 90.25 points aboard Ty Rinaldo TZ Bucking Bulls’ Flashover.
