[Mar. 10, 2009] PUEBLO, Colo. (March 10, 2009) - New Mexico native and PBR superstar L.J. Jenkins took top honors this past weekend at the Bullistic Buckoff PBR Discovery Tour in Victoria, Texas. For years, Jenkins has been a presence on the prestigious Built Ford Tough Series but was among a handful of other PBR riders who recently suffered the wrath of the newly implemented "cut" in the 2009 season. If Jenkins keeps riding like this – he could be the comeback kid of the PBR and assume his position, once again, amongst the best in the business. [Mar. 8, 2009] Tune in for all of the non-stop action as the Kansas City Invitational concludes TODAY on VERSUS - KANSAS CITY, Mo. (March 7, 2009) - The 2009 Kansas City Invitational brought the top 40 bull riders in the world to the Show Me State for stop #13 on the elite Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS) tour. In front of a sold-out Sprint Center crowd, Australian sensation Brendon Clark (Morpeth, AUS) and 2009 PBR Daisy Rookie of the Year contender Pete Farley (Kempsey, AUS) split the round one victory after each scored 87.75 points. Clark took on the bull, I’ll Make You Famous, owned by Kooper Branum & Gene Baker, while Farley rode Shad Smith’s bull, V1. (PBR) took the top 40 bull riders in the world to the Show Me State for three performances of non-stop action on February 27-March 1. At stop #12 on the prestigious Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS), PBR fan favorite Wiley Petersen (Fort Hall, Idaho) left St. Louis’ Scottrade Center victorious after totaling 348 points on four bulls and took home the coveted Enterprise Rent-A-Car Invitational event title, pocketing a check for $33,953.40. (February 23, 2009) - When the lights dimmed on the Glendale Invitational, stop No. 11 on the Professional Bull Riders’ (PBR) elite Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS), it was Oregon young gun Cody Ford (Stanfield, Ore.) who rode away with the win, proving why he is one of the top 40 bull riders on the prestigious tour. One electrifying performance featured the world’s best riders taking on the rankest bulls in the nation as they wowed the packed crowd at the Jobing.com Arena in Glendale, Arizona. [Feb. 22, 2009] ANAHEIM, Calif. (February 21, 2009) - The Professional Bull Riders, Inc. (PBR) sold out the Honda Center on Saturday night as the PBR’s Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS) bucked into Anaheim, California, for back-to-back stops on the West Coast. On stop #10 on the prestigious tour, fans were treated to the 40 best bull riders in the world, all competing against top bulls from across the country. In the end, Colorado superstar Kody Lostroh (Longmont, Colo.) emerged victorious after scoring 264.25 points on three bulls, taking home the coveted Anaheim Invitational event title.
