(January 18, 2009) - The world’s best bull riders invaded Sacramento, Calif., for stop number four on the Professional Bull Riders, Inc. (PBR) prestigious Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS). At the second of back-to-back stops, ARCO Arena was filled with the top 45 bull riders as they took on the best bulls in the business on January 17-18. In the end, Zack Brown (Santa Fe, Texas) walked away victorious after scoring 262.5 points on three bulls including a 90-point ride on one of the top five bucking bulls in 2008. Brazilian Superstar Dominates Round One in Sacramento![Jan. 18, 2009] SACRAMENTO, Calif. (January 17, 2009) - The world's best bull riders headed north to California’s Capitol City, Sacramento, for the second of back-to-back stops. In event 4 on the elite Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS), Renato Nunes (Buritama, SP, Brazil) walked out of ARCO Arena victorious after topping top bull, Little Bo, owned by 4C's/Sills/Barker. Colorado Superstar Takes His First Event Win of 2009![Jan. 17, 2009] FRESNO, Calif. (January 16, 2009) The Professional Bull Riders, Inc. (PBR) top 45 bull riders in the world invaded Fresno, Calif., for the 2009 Table Mountain Casino Invitational. On the third stop on the prestigious Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS), Kody Lostroh (Longmont, Colo.) left the Save Mart Center victorious after riding two bulls, including Julio Moreno Bucking Bulls prize animal, Troubadour, for a total of 183.25 points. Colorado Bull Riders Dominate PBR Event at National Western[Jan. 14, 2009] DENVER, Colo.- Colorado bull riding fans couldn’t have been any happier at the second performance of the Denver Chute-Out.
They got to see two of their own go to the top of the leader board in hopes of keeping the championship in the state. Josh Koschel from Greeley, won the first round of competition with an 89-point effort on a bull owned by Dillon and H.D. Page. The ride was worth $4,898. By Susan Kanode
87 is Magic Number at National Western Stock Show Bull Riding[Jan. 13, 2009] DENVER, Colo. - A year ago during the first performance of the Professional Bull Riders' Denver Chute Out, Nick Landreneau was the leader.
The Welsh, La., bull rider had similar success at this year’s event but is sharing the top spot with two other bull riders. J.B. Mauney, from Mooresville, N.C., and Mark Lopes, from Jackson, Calif., also had 87-point rides. By Susan Kanode
New York City's PBR Round Two Goes to Colorado Superstar[Jan. 11, 2009] The World's Most Famous Arena, Madison Square Garden, hosted the world's best bull riders for round two of the Built Ford Tough Invitational. In the second event of the 2009 Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS) season, Colorado cowboy Kody Lostroh (Longmont, Colo.) took the round two victory with a 91.25 point ride on Tom Teague Bucking Bulls, LLC's bull, Chance-a bull he picked in the second round draft, held earlier in the day at the Hawaiian Tropic Zone.
