Brian Canter Takes Omaha Classic Championship

Final Event Results for the Omaha Classic

When the dust settled in Omaha’s Qwest Center it was Brian Canter (Randleman, N.C.) who conquered the previously unridden bull Hot Stuff of D&H Cattle Company’s to win stop No. 16 on the Professional Bull Riders’ (PBR) Built Ford Tough Series presented by Wrangler (BFTS). The Omaha Classic, held April 11-12, featured the top 45 bull riders in the world facing off against the baddest bucking bulls in the business for a shot at the prestigious title. Thanks to the electrifying match up against Hot Stuff in the Built Ford Tough Championship round, Canter, 20, cashed in to the tune of $35,771 and took the title by a decisive margin of 10.25 points over runner up Austin Meier (Kinta, Okla.).
