Robson Palermo from Rio Branco, Brazil is in second place after riding White Velvet (Ace of Spades/Ohl/Circle T) for 88 points. Pete Farley of Kempsey, Australia and Brendon Clark, who is originally from Morpeth, Australia but now makes his home in Hollister, Calif., are tied for third with 87.5 points. Farley rode Rewind (Mann Creek Cattle Company/Curtis Mendell) and Clark rode Tiger Balm (Alex Howser).
INJURY REPORT:
Ned Cross, who suffered a concussion on Thursday, did not ride in Round 1 and is doubtful for Round 2. Sevi Torturo bruised his lower back in Round 1 and is questionable for Round 2.
